We had a really peaceful stay here. Our room was cleaned daily, even the dishes were taken care of, and the little kitchen, fridge, and small freezer made it easy to cook. The terrace had a large sunshade, so we could sit outside even in the hottest part of the day. There’s a small car park for rental cars, and the air conditioning worked well, though using it costs extra. The beach, shops, and restaurants are just a short walk away. The owners were warm and helpful, and the place suited our needs perfectly. We’d happily return.

Book ahead if you want to enjoy your time here, and stay with Irene and Sofia. The studios are lovely, and the whole family is friendly and efficient. The large balcony and lovely view were highlights, and the beach is only about a five-minute walk away. Our room was clean and had everything we needed, and breakfast was good. We also ate very well at the family-run tavern. More than anything, the welcome stood out: the family running the hotel made us feel at home right away and took care of everything we asked for. The service was excellent, and any issue was sorted out without making a fuss. There are two kinds of accommodation here. I only got a quick look inside one of the modern first-floor apartments, but it seemed very nice. The other rooms have a distinctly Greek, Olympos-like feel, with icons and traditional plates. Their furniture and kitchen equipment are enough for simple meals like pasta or salad, and I was able to borrow a grater when I needed one.

The sea view from the hillside hotel is beautiful, and the climb wasn’t too much for me even though I have joint problems. The beach is about a three-minute walk away, with the town area and some really good, cosy restaurants a little farther along from the first beach. There might be a bit of dust here and there, but that’s part of the charm when you’re on holiday by the sea. The people were kind and clearly wanted their guests to have a great time. We had a lovely stay from arrival to departure and would definitely recommend it. (august 2022)
