Hotel Oceanis Kavala

The staff were really nice and responsive whenever anything came up. The rooms have been renovated, and the location is perfect. Free parking is available too. Breakfast wasn't very varied, but there was enough and it was tasty. I would suggest adding a few cosy touches, like pictures, flowers or disposable slippers.

The breakfast had plenty of fresh, tasty choices, and the beds were large and comfortable. We could walk to everything in Kavala from this great central location. The staff were professional and friendly, and special thanks to Dimitris at the front desk for being so helpful with everything. Prices were reasonable too.

I found it good value for money for a stay in town. The hotel was very clean, and the staff were really friendly. I especially liked being able to relax by the rooftop pool and bar in the afternoon. Breakfast was just OK, and the mattress felt quite hard, though that's a matter of personal preference. The location is right in the center, which is great.

Parking was a big worry for me with a small child, so it was a real relief when the staff arranged a limited space in the underground lot at no extra cost. They also made a great impression from the moment we arrived for our short stay, and were incredibly welcoming and helpful. The hotel has an older look, but its cleanliness and facilities match or even beat newer places. Our room was spacious, with a nice view from the balcony, and the roof garden and pool had open views all around. We used the pool deck more than once for a swim, enjoying the views at sunset and late into the night. It's right downtown, near city hall and the prefecture offices, and an easy walk to the aqueduct, tower walls and waterfront for photos. Breakfast was good enough for us, though I can see why some guests might find it disappointing. The location worked perfectly, and I'd happily book here again.
