Olena House

Olena House is in a great spot in Kavala. There's a market right across the street, with several restaurants and cafes about 100 meters away and lots of choice. The area is quiet, parking is plentiful, and arriving by car was easy. The rooms are spacious, the kitchen has what you need to cook, and the air conditioning kept the place comfortable on hot days. The house is generally well equipped for a relaxing break. A couple of problems affected our stay. The internet was unreliable and sometimes stopped working altogether, which could be a real drawback for a longer visit or if you need to work. There was also a strong sewage odor from the small drain in the first bathroom. Opening that door made the smell almost unbearable, so it needs urgent attention. The house was quite dusty as well, especially uncomfortable for anyone with allergies, and the air conditioning made that worse. Even with those issues, we had a very pleasant stay overall and think Olena House is a very good place to stay in Kavala. Four stars from us.

The kitchen had everything we needed, and parking wasn't a problem. The rooms were comfortable and very nice. I'd recommend it.

This was the best value for the price of anywhere I stayed in Kavala. It's a four-room apartment, and the charge is based on how many people stay, but you still have the whole apartment to yourselves. It was very clean, with easy parking, and there are good cafes and restaurants close by.

The kitchen has everything you need, and every part of the apartment opens onto the balcony. The place was lovely and comfortable, and very clean. With four rooms, it works well for a group of tourists or two families with children. There's a market next door and a cozy terrace nearby, plus a little fishing port that should delight you.
