Angela Apartments

The room was dirty, the furniture mostly broken, and the view looked straight onto a septic tank. The air conditioning didn’t work, and sewage backed up into the bathroom, leaving a horrible smell throughout the room. The towels were never changed, and the bed was dirty too. Then they blamed us for damage and tried to charge us. Disgusting and unhygienic, with completely unprofessional service. This was a horror show.

The location was fine, but that was the only good thing. The rooms were dirty, and only the kitchen had been cleaned. We never got toilet paper or towels. You have to clean the apartment before leaving, or they charge 15€. The bed I slept on kept breaking, and we had to fix it ourselves. At first I thought I’d caused it, but other apartments had the same problem. The host was unpleasant and charged us 50€ for something we hadn’t broken. They also called the police when a guest in another apartment refused to pay 200€ for damage they said they hadn’t caused. I wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone.

The apartments are well located, but that’s the only positive. The rooms and bedding were dirty, and the landlady was rude, insolent and impossible to talk to. She wouldn’t let us sit in the garden, and she turned off the lights and internet. One evening, she even shut off the water. Air conditioning cost 160 euros for 10 days, and the apartment was still too hot. My friend accidentally broke a small chair, and she charged him 220 euros. Don’t come here.

The garden and chairs by the apartments were handy for hanging out before heading to the clubs, and the location is great. In my opinion, these are some of the best apartments in Kavos. It was a good experience overall, though the service could be better. If there aren’t towels in your apartment, you have to ask for them.
