Erosea Beach Resort

The food was affordable and delicious, and the beach and pool were clean and tidy. The staff were welcoming throughout, happy to answer our questions and wonderfully accommodating. We left very happy with what we paid and will definitely look to book here again.

The beach in front of the resort is awful and looks like nobody makes any effort to clean it. Maybe that’s why they never post it on their TikTok account. When we arrived, nobody answered our messages or was there to give us the room, so we had to find them ourselves. That was extremely rude. The rooms are infested with bedbugs and cockroaches. We woke up on several nights with them crawling over us. When we told the man who gave us the apartment, he didn’t even apologize, offer another room, or offer any money back. There’s no private terrace, so you have to share it with strangers, and there’s absolutely no privacy. The walls are too thin, the beds are uncomfortable and moldy underneath the mattress, and there’s no TV. Skip this place if you want a good vacation.

The only positive was the location right on the beach, though the water was dirty. The room itself was in poor shape: ants and spiders, bad cleaning, rust on the shower and sink, and visible limescale in the toilet. The bed was damaged and nearly broken, while the wardrobe smelled so bad we couldn’t put our clothes in it. Cleaning each day only started after we complained. All they did was spray insect repellent and quickly mop with a little bleach. The host was unfriendly and rude about our concerns, saying we’d “paid little” and that “it looks exactly like in the pictures.” We wouldn’t return and don’t recommend this accommodation. Kavos also isn’t a good area if you want peace and quiet. It’s mainly a party destination for young people and is very noisy both day and night.

The beach bar does amazing food and cocktails, with great quality and good value. These family-run apartments have a pool and lead straight to the beach. I’ve stayed twice and loved it. The location is ideal, close to shops, restaurants, and nightlife, but still quiet enough to sleep. We’re always greeted so warmly, and I can’t wait to come back this summer.
