Korina Apart Hotel

The apartment was just like the photos, maybe even nicer in person, and the view was beautiful. Everything was clean and comfortable, with a calm atmosphere. The ladies who welcomed us were always kind and ready to help whenever we needed anything. They made our holiday more special, and we’re grateful. We’d love to return one day and recommend the place for a relaxing, memorable break in Corfu.

Dina made Corfu easy to explore. She seemed to know everyone, and the restaurants she suggested were all great. When I said I’d come through her, the staff treated me like family. Sometimes there were discounts, surprise dishes, and lovely conversations too. She also gave practical, honest advice about excursions and day trips, including what they should cost, so I could avoid overpriced tourist traps. She consistently found the lowest prices for activities, which made planning my days simple and stress-free. I was traveling solo, and on my first night Dina even offered to introduce me to another solo guest so I’d have someone to get dinner with. From check-in, she was warm and friendly, and had already reached out before I arrived to make sure things were in order. After a long travel day, being able to go straight to my room and settle in was a relief. Korina Hotel is conveniently located, with the Green Line bus stop right outside. Check-in and checkout were smooth. My room was spacious, with a proper double bed, a great shower, and a balcony with an unbelievable view. Housekeeping was on point, with fresh towels, beach towels, and anything else I needed always available. The rooms and facilities are excellent, but it’s Dina and the team’s genuine hospitality that made the stay unforgettable. They helped me get the best out of Corfu and made me feel at home. I can’t recommend the hotel enough if you want somewhere warm and personal with full service. Thanks to Dina and everyone at Korina Hotel for making my trip special!

The apartments were clean and we had a nice stay. The staff were friendly, accommodating, and knew their stuff. Their office was handy for arranging just about everything, from excursions and activities to restaurants and transfers. The Korina hotel team also booked me an in-room massage with Olive Spa. Ask for the masseuse, Katerina, she’s one of the best in the business. Thanks for having us.

The transfer to Gardenos Beach was €40 prepaid for two people, for a trip of about 5-8 km. On the way back, the driver picked up two other people because, as he put it, it was on the way. We got back less than half the money. The administrator tossed it on the table and asked, “Are you happy now?” in a very disrespectful tone. Later, their Google reply said it was a minivan meant for more passengers. That’s nonsense, it was a regular car. We’d been told it was a private transfer, like booking a taxi. We also had a terrible time with the room. The Google and Booking.com photos are nothing like what we found. It was filthy, falling apart, and smelled so bad the stench got into our clothes for days. The old kitchen appliances were grimy, and we wouldn’t have dared cook on them. The safe didn’t work. The air conditioner looked ancient, and its greasy, yellow remote was broken. The TV was basically decoration, since it wouldn’t share the image from an iphone or macbook. The headboard was stained, the ottoman had a big greasy mark, and the front door was flimsy plastic, so we could hear everything in the hallway. There were no mosquito nets, and we got eaten alive. The air conditioner system made no sense either, turning on and off depending on whether the windows were open. The remote had no back cover, and its batteries kept falling out, so we had to put them back every time we wanted to switch it off. The worst part was what happened after we complained. Management cancelled our Booking.com reservation after we’d already stayed, apparently to stop us leaving a review. Most guests might not know about this, but they exploit it shamelessly. You can still leave a review with help from the support team. I’ve travelled a lot, but this was on another level of bad. I’d avoid Korina Apart Hotel unless you’re happy to waste money, breathe moldy air, get bitten by mosquitoes, and be treated like dirt.
