I think this is now Villa Soula Kaliva on booking.com. It’s very, very cheap and has been fully refurbished, with a fabulous view. There are great restaurants nearby, for example taverna Kampos. The host is friendly, and there are lots of freebies, including wine, drinks in the fridge, a croissant and luxury toiletries.

We loved the warm welcome from Maria and Manolis, who were always very kind and helpful. They’d filled the fridge with delicious grape and free drinks. The apartment was comfortable and fully equipped, close to the beach, and our room had an amazing view of Angios Stefanos. I really recommend them!

Great value: 10 nights cost €160. The weather was fantastic too, at 24°C 😎
