There was no reception when we got to the parking area around 11 PM, just a sign asking us to call a number. The man on the phone said he'd come quickly, and Nikos arrived in a luxurious car. After a brief welcome, he said there was a problem with our room and insisted we go to another hotel. He didn't explain or apologize, just rushed us and pushed to put our luggage in his car. When I said we had our own car, he curtly told us to follow him. The five-minute drive left us feeling uneasy, like we were being led into some shady scheme. We'd booked five nights through Agoda, paid in full in advance, and received confirmation. We'd also requested a double bed and a late arrival. At the other property, which he also manages, Nikos wanted to scan our passports before showing us the room. I refused and asked to see the accommodation first. He smirked and muttered that things were "complicated" with me. The room was smaller and clearly inferior to what we'd booked: dated, with a grimy shower and flimsy curtain, WiFi that didn't work despite his assurances and a supposed instruction note we couldn't find, and a TV that wouldn't turn on, possibly because of dead batteries. It felt neglected and had none of the original hotel's pool facilities. When I complained, Nikos arrogantly said Agoda hadn't given him our phone number or email and sneered, "How could I contact you then?" It sounded like a lie, since he knew about our booking. Only then did he say we'd have had to change rooms every day during our five nights at the original hotel, which wasn't practical. He blamed booking technology and launched into a speech about people needing to control technology, bringing up how he tells his son not to rely on Google Maps because it's unreliable. He took no responsibility and came across as arrogant and manipulative, as if nothing could ever be his fault. With no other options that late, we reluctantly stayed. He never apologized or offered compensation. The replacement was about 85EUR a night on its website for our dates, 30 EUR less than the hotel we had booked. He also gave us no basic checkout information, only saying we had his number and should contact him. After showing us the room, he scanned our passports at his nearby car rental office and brushed us off with, "You must be tired, go rest." It felt as if moving guests to inferior properties was routine for him. This felt fraudulent, like a scam, and ruined our vacation. Agoda may be reputable, but I wouldn't book here. Zero stars if possible. Save your money and sanity and go elsewhere.

The owner was really helpful and made us feel welcome. The place was clean, comfortable, and had everything we needed for our vacation. We'd gladly visit again, and I definitely recommend it.

The rooms were spotless, and the woman there was lovely, always smiling and ready to help. She even suggested some good local restaurants. We came to Kos for the first time with my fiancé and absolutely loved the place. We had a great time and will definitely be back next summer.

I had everything I needed for a relaxing, comfortable stay. The hosts were warm and friendly, the atmosphere was cozy, and the place was spotlessly clean. Its great location made it feel like a home away from home.
