Hotel Des Roses

Right in the heart of Kifisia, with easy walks to the bus and train. The front desk staff are very welcoming, and the breakfast buffet is good and filling. There are a few parking spots too.

We needed somewhere for two nights after an unexpected incident, and this turned out to be just right. It was clean, and they were very accommodating. Thank you for going above and beyond when we needed help!

I found the hotel nice in general. It's in a very good area, probably the most beautiful part of all Athens, and the staff were friendly, professional, and helpful. The breakfast was nice, though it could be much better, and the very old-fashioned showers in the room should be renewed. One day the room maid left my door open, which could have been serious, though nothing happened. ☹️

I've stayed at Des Roses twice now, including a return trip with my wife and a friend. The location is hard to beat, right in the middle of the lively Kiffisia shopping and entertainment district, and the staff are excellent. We always managed to get one of the five free parking spaces out front. Breakfast is basic but covers the essentials. This time the toilet seat seemed broken, and the shower diverter wasn't working well, so only a little water reached the shower head. The rooms are small, but modern and have what you need. On my first visit I also liked the location for shopping and dining, and the Subway is a 5 minute walk away for a ride into the heart of Athens. Breakfast was OK, with a small balcony if you can get one of its two tables. It's my 1st time staying there, but I'll be back. I'd still recommend it for the location, price, and staff.
