Pelican Paros

We had to cancel after the ferries were called off because of bad weather, something outside our control. We contacted the hotel and asked if they could share the inconvenience with us, but they wouldn't offer any commercial gesture. Another hostel confirmed that this is normal practice in that kind of situation. I was very disappointed and wouldn't recommend this hotel.

The room came with snacks and amenities, and check-in was straightforward. Shops and restaurants are an easy walk away, so the location is amazing.

The staff were kind during my stay and sent clear directions for checking in. I slept comfortably, and the shower was nice. It's well placed near a cute cafe and a pretty church, with the main restaurant strip and port also close by. I'd stay again and recommend it to others.

Eldo was a fantastic host, friendly and welcoming, and even helped with our bags. We appreciated the free snacks and drinks, too. Our twin room was spotless and had plenty of space for three days; we didn't hear noise from other apartments or outside, apart from the occasional church bell. The Pelican sits among the restaurants and shops in the heart of Paros, conveniently near the ferry port. We had a great time and will come back. Thanks to Eldo and the Pelican team.
