There are plenty of restaurants nearby, and the buffet breakfast is great. The staff were friendly and efficient, too. My room was spacious, with comfy beds, air conditioning, and a balcony. It could do with a little modernising, but the sea views and rural feel were lovely.

We spent a week here with four other adults and a baby. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, and our rooms were clean and spacious. The pool and bar area were excellent, and the food at the Sunny bay was great value and really good. It’s in a quiet, beautiful part of Kissamos, about a five to ten minute walk from the town square, shops, and restaurants. We’re hoping to come back next year.

The restaurant and bar food was delicious, and the staff were so friendly and helpful. Our room was clean and roomy enough for a family, and the beach right in front of the hotel was nice when we didn’t feel like going anywhere. It’s also easy to reach lovely beaches like Falasarna and Elafonisii. A nice hotel for families. We’ll come back!

My boyfriend and I stayed for two weeks in July, and we couldn’t have been happier. We wanted somewhere cozy and relaxing for our holiday, and it was just right. The staff were lovely and professional, and our room had a sea view that was so beautiful. I was pleasantly surprised that the beach sunbeds were included in the stay. At many other hotels I’ve been to in Crete, you have to rent the hotel’s sunbeds on the beach. Thanks so much, Sunny Bay Kissamos, for a fantastic holiday.

The surroundings are quiet, and there’s not much around, so it’s about a ten-minute walk to civilization. The rooms are bright and modern, with plenty of space, a sofa, and a balcony. Service was excellent, and GM Yiannis was very helpful.
