The wild, dry cliffs and bright blue water make for a mesmerizing view, and the place itself is spotless with excellent service. Christina and Nikos, along with their small, welcoming team, were caring and gracious hosts. It’s a lovely choice for a quiet getaway. Just know that the suites sit up the cliff, reached by a short 4-minute walk, if you’re not confident on winding unpaved roads.

The owners, Christine and Nikos, were attentive, and the breakfasts were absolutely lovely. The apartment had everything we needed and was cleaned every day. Add the amazing sunset view, and it made for a fantastic, relaxing seaside holiday. Highly recommend.

The sunsets were unforgettable, and the cleaning was the best we could have hoped for. Christine and her spouse gave us such thoughtful service that we felt like part of the family. It’s a great spot if you prefer somewhere without crowds. The privacy comes with a rough final stretch of unpaved road, though we had fun with it, and I wished I’d brought a better car. I’d also have liked the rooms and shower to be a little bigger, and drinkable tap water.

The view and sunset are the real draw here, maybe the best on the island. Rooms were nice and clean, and the balconies were spacious. The nearby beach is a 3-5 minute drive and has two taverns and coffee shops. Chora, the harbour, and other beaches take 15-30 minutes by car. Driving back at night needs care because the roads aren’t lit. The balcony gets no shade from around 15:00 or 16:00 until sunset, and the sun was so strong we either had to go inside or leave the area. That’s the tradeoff for the sunset. The roughly 1 KM dirt road to the hotel is quite rough, with hills up and down, but you may get used to it after a few days. Be ready for it and don’t let it put you off when you first arrive. The Wi-Fi outside the room was weak; apparently you need to switch to a different network to connect. There’s no supermarket nearby, and the closest one is a 15-20 minute drive away, so it may be worth picking up supplies on the way to check in.
