The rooms are basic, but for the price they were clean and had what we needed. The food at the restaurant was freshly cooked, lovely, and offered plenty of choice. Our boys especially liked the pizzas. We had a great holiday and will definitely come back. The staff and service were amazing, and nothing was too much trouble. Thanks to the Ideal staff for a great holiday.

The food is lovely, and there’s a pool and restaurant. It’s a family-run place with what you need. For a two-star hotel, it’s not bad at all, and the staff are very friendly.

The restaurant in the complex served food all day, and it was excellent value, with generous portions and amazing quality. I especially loved the seafood linguine, just stunning. The family-run apartments made for a wonderful holiday, from the welcome when we got off the coach to the goodbye at the end. Both the rooms and the pool area were clean, tidy and modern.

The restaurant is right below the hotel, and the servings are huge, delicious and really cheap. The beach is about a five-minute walk away, and there’s also a nice pool if you’d rather swim there. My sister and I stopped in Crete for a few days while backpacking around Europe, and this was the best hotel we stayed in. The rooms are huge and the beds are comfortable. Everyone was welcoming and kind, went out of their way to greet us, and made sure we had what we needed. Couldn’t recommend it more, absolutely amazing all around.

We visited in May and it was quiet, so there was plenty of space around the nice pool. The attached restaurant and bar were handy, and the food was great. It’s a friendly place, well located for a short transfer from the airport, with buses into the city and other nearby resorts. The self-catering setup is basic, but clean and well serviced. The beds were on the firm side, though that’s personal preference.
