Magic Hotel

The birthday touches made our stay especially memorable. It was my daughter’s birthday, and Jimmy gave her an extra-large chocolate milk at breakfast. That evening, when we ate in the restaurant, the team had balloons, a banner, and a thoughtful present waiting for her. She was blown away by how kind everyone was, and my now 12-year-old will always remember the huge balcony and jacuzzi in our upgraded mini villa. The place was spotless and comfortable, with two bedrooms, two bathrooms, a living room, and a utility room with a washing machine. It didn’t have a kitchen, but the extra space was incredibly helpful. The whole team made us feel like family from the moment we arrived. Monica was outstanding, and her passion for the hotel and island really showed in all our conversations. The small staff team worked hard to make sure we had a relaxing time. They recommended great restaurants and even booked tables for us. The woman at the pool bar, whose name we never got, also deserves a mention for being so thoughtful and helpful. The location made it easy to catch buses into town or to the beaches. There are supermarkets and plenty of nearby restaurants too, for nights when you don’t want to go further afield. Jimmy and Julian were attentive and ready to help throughout. Monica also urged my mum, who had an injured foot, to visit the medical centre. She was right to do so, and even gave us “evil eyes” to warn us of danger! We’ve never had such a warm welcome at a hotel. We can’t recommend Magic Hotel highly enough and are sure we’ll return.

We spent nine days at Magic Hotel and it really was MAGIC. The room was super spacious, the service was great, and breakfast was amazing. Everything was excellent. Special thanks to Monica at reception. We’re already thinking about coming back for a future holiday.

The staff gave excellent service, and I’d definitely book here again. It’s about a five-minute walk to a beautiful beach and two minutes to the bus stop and a shop. There are several good tavernas within a 5-8 minute walk. The hotel is along the road that runs down the south of the island. There’s also a box of donated beach gear, including inflatables, an umbrella, and chairs.

The hotel was clean and tidy, with friendly, helpful staff and a standard breakfast buffet. The rooms felt a little dated, and the design was dull and somewhat out of date. It’s a very ordinary hotel, with nothing fancy or extraordinary, but it matched the photos and descriptions online. If you’re after a standard, child-friendly place close to good beaches and don’t mind a distinct package holiday feel, you can still have a good time here.
