Villa Karina - Near Achladies Beach

Apartment 8 worked out so well for us. It was clean, comfortably furnished, and had a wonderfully comfortable mattress and pillows. Since it’s on the ground floor, it stayed cool enough that we didn’t turn on the air conditioning once. Breakfast was delicious and nicely presented, and the espresso, for an extra charge, and refreshing cocktails were lovely too. Villa Karina is an easy walk from two beaches, near Stop 15, and surrounded by good places to eat by bus stop 16. Nikolas welcomed us warmly when we arrived early in the morning, made us great coffee, let us check in at 10 a.m., and arranged a taxi for our early departure. The whole family-run team looked after us throughout our perfect week. I’d happily recommend the hotel and hope to return next year.

The main street runs past the house, so there can be quite a bit of noise when you're sitting in the garden during the day. At night it didn't bother us, since the rooms face the other way. We had a lovely few days here. The room and the rest of the property were nicely decorated and felt modern and fairly new. We booked directly, which we'd recommend, and breakfast was included. There was a choice of sweet or intercontinental breakfast, all freshly cooked, and the coffee was really good. Nikolas made us feel welcome even though we arrived much too early to check in. He offered coffee and suggestions for how to spend the time until our room was ready. We can certainly recommend staying here.

The host was friendly and really helpful, from arranging moped rentals to suggesting restaurants, and I felt well looked after. The rooms are beautifully decorated and the air conditioning worked perfectly. It’s a calm, clean spot, just two minutes from a wonderfully idyllic beach, beside a bus stop, and with lots of restaurants nearby. The airport is only 15 minutes away. A real gem.

We came here every day during our week in Kolios. The porridge was out of this world, and the pancakes were just as good. Everything tasted amazing and was presented so nicely, and we loved the delicious breakfast and freddo espresso.
