Small Town Apartment

Maria and her mum were friendly and helpful, and the apartment had plenty of amenities. I liked its older Greek style, and both the heating and hot water worked well. Mine was quite dark, but since I spent most of my time outdoors, it didn’t bother me; I just switched on the light when needed. The apartment was clean and comfortable, and the location is convenient, about a five-minute walk from the bus station, square, shops, and cafés. One thing to know if you’re traveling alone with luggage and don’t have a car: the road from the bus station is narrow and very stony, which can be difficult for a senior person. There is a 24-hour Konitsa Taxi service. I’m leaving today after a week here.
