Camping Odysseia & Bungalows

Not quite 5 stars, but fair :) The beach is close, and the nature at the camping is really peaceful. We liked it :)

The tavern is the one bright spot. The food is really good, and the operators are friendly and decent, though they’re completely at the mercy of management. The campsite itself was a disaster: loud, dirty, and old, with a filthy facility. The long-term campers were disrespectful, and management seemed more interested in themselves and counting money than the place. Vehicles came through around the clock, while teenagers ran around screaming all night. Don’t go there, even for one night. Keep driving.

At night you can hear what sounds like motorbike races near the camp, and the campsite restaurant was closed at the end of august. My husband and I were disappointed and don’t recommend this place. There was no hot water, not even for washing dishes. Service was very bad, and the reception staff were rude. Three men sat around doing nothing. I’m surprised this camping has so many good reviews.

This is the worst Greek campsite I know, and I won’t come back. It’s dirty and constantly short of hot water. The staff have no manners and insult tourists in German. An old gray-haired employee called me "raus". For Poles, that’s especially insulting because those were words we heard from Germans during the Second World War when we were being led to execution. The owner, meanwhile, is mad and can’t control his behavior.
