Kea Paradise

The beds deserve a special mention. I saw another review bring them up and didn't think much of it, but after sleeping in one, I'd say it was probably the best bed I've ever had. The staff were incredibly kind and helpful. Georgios helped us with the booking, during our stay, and when we left, and was eager to share information about the island. This is exactly what I think of as a beautiful boutique hotel. The decor is gorgeous, with elegant furniture and lighting, and the place is extremely clean. Breakfast was delicious, freshly prepared each day, with plenty of choices for both adults and children. The location is excellent, just a short walk from lots of cafes and restaurants. Definitely a yes from me!

We spent three nights here. The location was convenient for the port and several beaches, on a quiet street, and the room looked nice and modern. But on the first day we found two small marks on the sheets and a stained hand towel. When we requested room cleaning the following day, they took the dirty towel but left the sheets unchanged. We also found the bathroom sink was partly clogged, and later the shower was too. There was no receptionist during the first two days, so we couldn't report the problems until day three. I explained everything in the morning and was told housekeeping would come, but nothing had been done by the time we returned before dinner. We were told we'd asked too late in the day. We spent all three nights without any of the room issues being resolved. On our last night the receptionist said he would try to contact the owner. He couldn't reach him, so he offered a bottle of wine as an apology. It was a nice gesture, but maybe not enough given the problems and the price. The stay was okay, but we were disappointed with the response to our concerns. A bit unfortunate.

The family who own this hotel were polite, friendly, and really helpful. Our room was spacious and beautifully decorated, and the cleanliness was beyond what we expected. They served a delicious homemade breakfast every day. We had a lovely stay that made our vacation memorable.

The room was clean, and the breakfast was truly homemade. Service was excellent throughout our relaxing family weekend at Kea Paradise. The hotel combines welcoming common areas with edge cutting technology, and it's very close to the port and some great beaches. I'd definitely suggest it if you want to unwind and enjoy a vacation in Kea. Thanks to the whole family for the experience. See you again next summer!
