For our six nights, this hotel gave us what we came for and we were very happy. The room was roomy and comfortable, with all the facilities we needed. We chose a sea-view balcony room instead of the ground floor. The low-rise hotel is cute, the staff are great, breakfast is fresh and good, and the pool is lovely, with comfortable sunbeds and towels provided. The beach across the road could use some care and isn't as nice, but that's not the hotel's doing. For a sandy cove, take the road to the right and walk up and down the hill. It's less than 10 minutes away. The port has great restaurants, and the next town beyond the beach is nice for coffee and a snack. Enjoy!

We left without staying even one night after the front desk woman seemed not to understand the problems and offered no apology. They refused even a partial refund. We’d paid extra for the resort’s “presidential suite,” supposedly its best room, but found mildew in the bathroom, stained old furniture, a dirty sink, no kitchen supplies, and no privacy, with the kiddie pool right outside the front door. The location was awful too, right by the loud main port, with a busy road between the rooms and a dirty public beach. There wasn’t even a crosswalk to get kids across safely. Don’t be taken in by the slick website video; we had to slow it down to confirm this was the resort shown. Americans, stay away. You could find better accommodation at a 3-star motel on the Jersey Shore. Blatant false advertising.

The pool and sauna were nice, and the hotel is near the ferry, beaches, and restaurants. Breakfast could be better.

At 580 EUR a night, or 2,900 EUR for five nights for three adults and two kids in one room, this was completely unjustified. Porto Kea Suites did not feel like a real five-star stay. The first room had mold on the wall beside the bed; after we complained, we were moved to a room with broken furniture. The pool was dirty, and the electricity kept cutting out. The manager stayed in denial and hid behind the five-star certification instead of dealing with the issues. Enjoy your holidays, but stay away from scams.

The manager was so kind and attentive to the details, and went out of his way to make sure we had everything we needed. That made us feel at home. Our family stay was fantastic: the atmosphere was welcoming, and the clean, comfortable hotel worked perfectly for kids. Highly recommended for families, we’ll definitely return!
