The bookable restaurants were excellent, with plenty of variety, while the inclusive buffet was only alright. The hotel offered a lively but still relaxed atmosphere, and a wide range of daytime activities, whether you wanted to join in, explore or stay by the pool. Its amenities felt top class, and the stay balanced downtime with entertainment well. The pools were spacious and beautifully designed, great for swimming or relaxing, and the views of the sea and surrounding landscape were stunning. The spa was another highlight, serene and professional. I had a massage and facial that felt luxurious, and would recommend trying them. From the warm welcome onward, the beautiful setting made for an unforgettable holiday. I would highly recommend the hotel to anyone visiting Kos. Five stars for its comfort and experience.

The area is beautiful, and Kardamena town is only a quick walk away. The hotel and accommodation were clean, the food was tasty and nicely presented, and the staff were friendly. We came in September as a family of four, including our son who uses a wheelchair. Because the resort is hilly, we had asked our travel agents to request lower accommodation, but we were put right at the top. The reservations manager said she had informed the agents and was disappointed they hadn’t passed that on. She upgraded us as an apology and made sure we were looked after, so the issue was handled quickly and we were very happy with that. The only drawback was having one lift serving the restaurant, which may not be ideal for guests with disabilities. Still, we had a wonderful holiday. A big thank you to Chester, the swim coach, and Ryan, the football coach, who always went above and beyond for the children.

Our suite upgrade came with a shared pool for eight other apartments just outside the room. It had stunning views and felt almost private, with no children allowed. We also loved the spa treatment, and the staff were so friendly, taking time to chat and making us feel at home. Zografina was especially lovely to talk to and always made us feel welcome. The hotel’s location and facilities are beautiful, with plenty of bars and restaurants on site. Daytime pool activities included music, water zorbing, aqua fit and midday pool parties; the amphitheatre shows were great for both children and adults too. The entertainment team were brilliant. We booked with Tui and had a great experience with them throughout the trip. Their staff are on site every day and helped with questions, excursions, restaurants and taxis. Sophie, our Tui rep, was really nice and good at her job. There were some food and drink drawbacks. The all inclusive buffet in the main restaurant wasn’t very tasty, while the Italian, Greek, Chinese and American a la carte restaurants were good. We got two free nights at those restaurants per week. The included wine wasn’t pleasant, though the Greek wine you pay for was much better. The beer on tap and the spirits were nice, so we mostly chose spirits with mixers. Once the restaurants shut at 21:30, there was no food or snacks available, although the on site supermarket stayed open late and sold crisps and chocolate. Even with those issues, this beachfront hotel felt like a magical holiday spot, and we’d highly recommend it.

Valeria from HV Bar was amazing, a real asset to the company. I wish her all the best. We had a fantastic family holiday and I’d highly recommend the resort. The only thing I wasn’t keen on was that the pools weren’t heated, though with that weather it’s hard to complain.
