Gaia Garden Hotel

The first-floor outdoor terrace was a lovely place to eat, and the restaurant staff were attentive, clearing plates and helping us find things. The food was great. Our room was beautiful and superb, and I think it may have been recently refurbished. The Gaia Garden was wonderful, spotlessly clean, and the staff were so friendly. A lovely place to spend a holiday.

Easy, flat, shaded walk of about 10 minutes to the shops and beach, and the hotel is in a good location. There's no rush around the pool, with plenty of beds available. The whole place has a relaxed, family-run feel, and everyone was smiling. Food was good too. The grounds are immaculate, and the rooms are serviced every day to a very high standard. Free Wi-Fi reaches everywhere, including the rooms. Really well run, and I'd highly recommend it if you want a relaxing break. Keep up the great work. Steve, currently in residence.

The food was the main reason I gave four stars. For an all-inclusive, there wasn't much choice, and lunch and dinner got repetitive after a few days. There were chips, mashed potato, spaghetti bolognaise, pasta, chicken, one fish dish, and lots of salad. It wasn't very warm either, so we ate out a bit. The restaurant's only accessible by steps, which makes this hotel unsuitable for wheelchair users or people with low mobility. We carried the pushchair up a couple of times when our baby was tired. We'd booked two lower-floor apartments and called ahead to explain we needed a travel cot and had a baby with us. When we arrived around 10pm, the cot wasn't in the room, and our ground-floor room had steps down to it, making it hard to manage with the baby and pushchair. The hotel quickly fixed both issues by moving us to a room without steps and bringing the cot later. Our parents couldn't move rooms too, which was a shame for our group. Apart from that, the hotel was peaceful and very pretty, in a great location. The restaurant staff upstairs were lovely and welcoming, especially Aurelio, who made such an effort with our baby. She loved seeing you at meals! The little play park was great too, and our baby enjoyed the swing and roundabout. The grounds were spotless. The pool felt fresh at first but warmed up quickly, and inflatables are allowed. Sunbeds were available any time of day. It's about a 20-minute walk to Kos town or a quick bike ride, and there's a supermarket close by. Our room had a handy fridge and strong air conditioning. The hotel would be more accessible with a pushchair too.

The staff were fantastic, welcoming, and so helpful. The hotel was lovely and clean, and the refurbished rooms were great. It's about a half-hour walk into Kos Town, but the hotel is well away from a lot of noise. Would highly recommend it.
