Oikia Ampavris

Inge has made a cozy little house in her large garden, a peaceful place to relax that’s still within walking distance. She’s a wonderful, interesting host and speaks very good German 😀. We’re already looking forward to coming back to Oikia Ampavis.

We had a quiet spot among olive trees and nature, only a five-minute drive from the center of Kos town, so it was easy to rest without feeling cut off. The hostess was friendly, discreet and ready to help, but never intrusive. Our two-room apartment was spotless, modern and tastefully decorated. It had everything we could need: a kitchen with a microwave, washing machine, fridge, coffee maker and toaster, plus air conditioning, a huge flat-screen TV, Wi-Fi, toiletries, double pillows, a thermometer, Fenistil cream, slippers, a basic sewing kit and an umbrella. It felt like staying at a relative’s home, maybe even better. The fridge was stocked with breakfast items, fruit, bottled water and beers when we arrived, a really warm gesture that touched us. The first part of our mid-July stay in Kos was wonderful, largely because we chose Oikia Ampavris. We honestly have nothing negative to say and highly recommend it to anyone looking for comfort, peace and warm hospitality.
