Nitsa Rooms

Nitsa rooms is right by the beach and well placed for supermarkets, fast food, and the harbour. The owners were kind, and Kostas, Nitsa's son, gave our group of thirteen guys useful tips on attractions, restaurants, things to do, and supermarkets. We didn’t know the island, so his advice helped us avoid wasting time or money on tourist traps and try typical local food instead. The rooms were very cheap and good. There are two buildings, one a little newer, but there’s hardly any difference between them. The rooms in the older one are a bit smaller. I stayed in the newer building, in a large room with a small balcony and a decent bathroom. The kitchen had everything, though we only used the fridge because Greek fast food, restaurants, and bakeries were so cheap that we only had breakfast at home. The room was clean enough. The cleaner came only when we were out, so she wouldn’t disturb our sleep. We were given a hairdryer, one towel each, bed sheets, and blankets. There was a drying rack on the balcony, and the air conditioning worked very well with every mode. When the trip ended, Nitsa let us leave our luggage in the hall until evening after we checked out at the arranged time. My friends and I were really happy we chose these apartments.

For the price, this place offers a lot, especially for a family. There’s a little shop for snacks and drinks, and the location is handy for the ferry port, city centre, old town and nearby attractions. The room also has water, air conditioning and a TV, plus a kitchen with a sink, stove, cooking utensils and cutlery.

The owner is always willing to help, and the room and bathroom were kept clean. There’s a basic kitchen setup for making simple meals, too. The room isn’t somewhere you’ll want to spend much time, though the AC works fine for sleeping. You can sit out on the small balcony, which has two chairs and looks onto a rather dull backyard.

The people are VERY kind, and it’s close to the city and even the Schengen gate for visitors to Turkey.
