I was satisfied with my stay, especially since the price was lower than other hotels that season, and I can recommend it. The hotel is nice, and the location is ideal, on a busy tourist street close to both the beach and harbor. I had a big, long balcony. The downsides were the thin soundproofing, the outdated bathroom, and one of the two air conditioners. You could hear the neighbour open their door, and one unit only blew air like a fan instead of cooling. The faucet was rusty and difficult to use because it was so old. Breakfast was okay, but not very good.

Breakfast was a nice way to start the morning, with fruit, cereal, omelet, bacon, pastries, juice, yoghurt, and more. The pool was very clean and a great place for a dip after a hot day. Towels and linens were replaced every day, which was handy since we used them at the beach. The shower in my room was a little small for my taste, but I had no other issues. It’s a great hotel to stay in, and I’ll definitely come back when I visit Kos again.

So many things went wrong here, and I’d never stay at this hotel again. The only polite staff member was the man working nights. The rest were extremely rude. When we tried to talk to them, they spoke over us and practically shouted so we couldn’t get a word in. The pool had mould on the bottom and around the edges, including around the filters. It’s in shade by 3 or 3:30 because it’s at the front of the hotel, and after seeing the mould we didn’t use it. The air conditioning had a gas leak, but they did nothing about it. We were left choosing between being hot and possibly getting ill, and the staff didn’t seem to care. We paid €10 a day for air conditioning that didn’t work properly and weren’t given any money back. There was also a leak into our shower, and the response was, “we will get a technician another day.” The beds were so uncomfortable, it would’ve been nicer to sleep on a brick wall. There were loads of bugs too, because the cleaners left the balcony doors open and the room was red hot when we came back from being out. On our last day, they said they’d ordered a taxi to the airport. We checked half an hour before we were due to leave and found they hadn’t booked it. The man at reception did book one then, but for half an hour too early. When I said we weren’t ready, he argued with me and kept asking, “what is your issue if you’re leaving early?” and “what is your problem?” The way he blamed us and rushed us when the taxi came was completely out of order, since it was the staff who had failed to arrange it on time. While we were sitting in reception that day, two families came in one after another and said their bookings weren’t showing in the system. The same rude man shouted and argued with them too.
