Kosta Palace

My sister and I stayed in a top-floor room overlooking the harbor, and the views made our visit feel extra special. The staff were wonderful, always friendly, professional and ready to help. The room was clean, comfortable and well looked after, and we enjoyed the great range of food. We’d be very happy to come back to Kosta Palace Hotel in Kos.

The apartment was bright, spacious and well equipped, with a full kitchen and a big balcony. It worked well for a short visit or a longer stay. Check-in through the app was easy, and staff quickly brought an extra pillow when I asked. Booking directly on the official website also cost less than the other platforms I checked. I stayed at Kos Palace in July 2025, mainly because of the location. It’s right across from the ferry port, less than 200 m from the pier to Bodrum, so early ferries were easy to catch. The place feels more like serviced apartments than a traditional hotel, and there’s a pool with a sea view. The only small downside was that younger guests could make the pool area noisy at times. Overall, it was a comfortable, independent stay by the port.

The rooftop pool was really nice, and we did have a good time. The entrance and reception also made a very positive first impression. The rooms, though, are quite dated. Honestly, if we come back to Kos Town, I probably wouldn’t book here again.

On our second visit, the first room we were given was awful: dark, dated, with dead ants under the sink and poorly kept light fittings. There was hot water in the shower, but none from the bathroom sink. After I complained, they moved us to a much better room. It was our second time here, and we’d given it five stars on the first visit. Be careful, some rooms are good and some are awful. We noticed someone else was put in the old room after us, which I think is unacceptable.
