We were a group of nine, so we booked private transfers and needed a larger vehicle. The hotel does offer transfers for a fee, and I’d use that option if I came back. The staff were all pleasant and helpful, and I’d happily recommend staying here, especially for couples or families with older children. It’s a calm place with good service and great views, about a five-minute walk from the 'i love kos' sign at the main harbour in the centre. The ferry operators’ hut at the port gave us the best deal for the Bodrum ferry. The discounted tickets included the extra taxes, and the staff said the price was for buying directly from them instead of online or at tourist booking offices in town. We picked up tickets on the day and never had to queue to check in. When returning to Kos from Bodrum, they do check whether you’re over the 200 tobacco limit, though Turkey didn’t seem concerned about how much you brought in. We had a great time at this apartment hotel. We booked a five-bed room, a three-bed room, and a penthouse. All had sea views, and the five-bed room and penthouse also looked out over the pool. The rooms were spacious, cleaned every other day, and had fresh towels daily. The AC kept them cool, the WiFi worked fine for me, and the kitchenette and TVs, which supported YouTube, were working well. There’s a lift, and you can store luggage on your last day, use the pool, and shower before your flight. You can also ask reception for extra room keys, though they may need to make one because the locks are changed regularly. There’s a small shop by reception for things like suncream and towels. The pool was relaxing, with a lovely breeze. The pool and jacuzzi felt around body temperature, neither hot nor cold. Food and drinks by the pool were good, fairly priced compared with places outside, and came with great service. We hired an ATV and a moped from the shop at the front of the hotel. Riding the ATV, we covered the length of Kos, went into the mountains, and visited the old capital of kefalos. It was awesome. Reception also arranged an eight-seater day tour for our group to the main tourist sights, including ancient ruins, mountains, and kefalos, finishing with a sunset. The driver was great, safe, and patient, and I’d highly recommend the tour. The little beach across from the hotel may not show up in many Instagram photos, but it was pleasant for a quick swim, with lots of fish to see while snorkeling and lovely warm water. Shampoo and shower gel are provided. The solar eco-heater can run out of hot water sometimes, but we managed, particularly in August!!
