Pelagos Suites Hotel & Spa

The all-inclusive food had loads of choice, from fresh fish and meats to fresh fruit and desserts. Drinks were more than adequate too. Since I’m pregnant, though, I couldn’t enjoy all the cocktails. Besides cola light, water and coffee, there weren’t many low- or no-sugar options. My husband and I had a very pleasant stay in a neat, well-equipped junior suite. We got a fresh bottle of water every day, the room was cleaned properly each day, and the bed was very comfortable. There were quite a few roosters and chickens close to the building, starting their day as early as 5 am. Fortunately, our AirPods blocked the noise well enough. We had a wonderful stay and would happily recommend this resort. Try watching the sunset from the private beach, where drinks are available too.

The location made it easy to get around, including to Kos town. We never felt cramped or struggled to find sunbeds, and the staff were lovely. Food was okay, always fresh and plentiful. We were there for 9 nights and felt comfortable. There are 2 à la carte restaurants and 1 buffet restaurant. The pools and public areas were well maintained, though the areas outside the rooms could have been cleaner. Rooms were cleaned daily and towels refreshed.

Konstantinos deserves special mention. He gave his all, and his friendliness, dedication and personal touch were the finishing touch to an already wonderful visit to the Mediterranean restaurant at our hotel. His service turned a great experience into something outstanding. Johnny also helped us feel genuinely welcome and well looked after throughout. Both went above and beyond with warm, attentive service of the highest standard. Thank you for the remarkable hospitality. We’d be delighted to return.

The old town was nice, but the stretch leading to it from the hotel felt run down, with rubbish and broken old furniture left around. Sadly, Kos wasn’t for me. I preferred Rhodes, and this place didn’t have the sparkle of other resorts. Pelagos itself is modern and clean, with lovely Mediterranean planting, good food, a large pool and waterslides. The dining room staff were excellent. The wine quality was a shame, with staff squeezing it out of foil bags into jugs. Town is a 30-45 minute walk, and we avoided taxis after being told there were problems with them on the island. The beach is across a road from the hotel, with nice loungers and a small bar, but you have to walk back up to the hotel for the toilet. There was a disappointing amount of rubbish left on the beach. We had a deluxe suite with a very comfortable bed, but its huge terrace was just empty space with no loungers.
