Breakfast came right to our doorstep each morning at the time we chose, and it was tailored to each of us. Eating it on the patio was a lovely way to start the day. The staff added lots of personal touches and were caring throughout. The place felt quiet, peaceful, intimate, and romantic, overlooking the Aegean Sea. We walked into Fira several times, and the trail to Oia starts right beside the hotel. For us, it was the perfect spot for going either direction. The pool was FREEZING, but refreshing.

We drove our rental car here, and parking could be difficult at times. The hotel itself was very nice, with excellent rooms. Ours was one of the smaller ones, but that was fine since we only used it for sleeping. The room and shower were clean, and breakfast was good. You can order it the day before.

The hotel’s location in Imerovigli worked perfectly as a base between Oia and Fira, with plenty of excellent local restaurants nearby. It’s a charming town, and we can’t wait to come back. Both our room and the pool area had breathtaking caldera views. Staff were warm, attentive, and went out of their way to look after us. The hotel bar served great food and cocktails, and our room was spotless. Having breakfast delivered to the balcony each morning was a lovely extra. We couldn’t fault our stay at Regina Mare Hotel.

The view was incredible, and the sunset was breathtaking. The breakfast included with our stay was delicious, and we also received a complimentary bottle of wine and fresh fruit. They can arrange transport for an extra charge, and it was worth it. Jenny kindly upgraded us when we arrived, and the location was perfect for our anniversary. It’s a 5-minute walk to the bus stop at Imerovigli, or about a 25-30 minute walk to Fira bus station. I’d recommend this hotel to anyone.
