Luxury Villa Blue Dome Santorini

Alexandra was a thoughtful, attentive host. When she found out we were celebrating my 40th birthday, she had the villa decorated and arranged a personalized cake and wine. That was so kind of her, and I wish we could have stayed longer. The place has a real luxury feel, with comfortable beds and a beautiful setting. Breakfast was phenomenal, especially the Greek yogurt.

The villa sits between Fira and Oia, which made it convenient to get around, but its location is also where people take all the flying dress pictures. There was quite a bit of noise, and photographers kept looking over at us while we were in the pool. We had to tell them several times to get off our front step, and rarely got a chance to take pictures by the dome right outside because photographers were there nonstop. Bona and Alexandra were wonderful hosts and concierges. Before our arrival, Alexandra stayed in touch and was always ready to answer questions or help us book things. Bona cleaned the house each morning and made fresh breakfast, including croissants, homemade spinach pies, orange juice, and anything else we wanted. Both my kids loved her spinach pies and chocolate milk, which became a breakfast staple.

Alexandra was incredibly helpful from the booking stage, even calling ferry companies and checking for a particular baby formula without us asking. We stayed for three nights in mid September with my husband, our eight month old son, and our cousin, and had a wonderful time. The villa was spotless, had plenty of amenities, and is right beside the blue dome in Imerovigli. There are lots of restaurants within walking distance, and Fira is about a 20 minute walk away. Bona made breakfast and coffee at our preferred time every morning, so don’t skip the yogurt bowls. She also did the usual daily cleaning and even washed a load of baby clothes. She was sweet, kind, and very accommodating. It was worth every cent. If we return to Santorini, we’ll absolutely stay here again. Thank you, Alexandra and Bona!
