Antigoni at the front desk made us feel so welcome. She was warm, professional, and genuinely pleasant. We had a second-floor room facing the sea, with a lovely church right in front and a great view. The hotel and room felt updated, with bright, clean walls and no cracks or mold. Housekeeping came daily, and the place was spacious and very clean. A lovely stay.

We found Hotel Agistri very clean and well cared for, which made it an easy, comfortable place to relax. Its location was also really handy for exploring the area and enjoying what’s nearby. I’d happily recommend it to anyone visiting Agistri.

Oinoi, the beautiful Athenian woman at reception, was the one real bright spot. She was kind, smart, and caring, and at least she made us feel welcome. The location is great, but noise was a problem. Mopeds sped past the balcony, and the sewage tank was emptied at night, leaving an unbearable smell. Inside, the place felt old and neglected. The cheap red colors and random décor weren’t appealing, and the bathroom flooded whenever we showered. Our kitchenette had just one old cup, and it had a hole in it. The design choices made it seem like the owners have little sense of taste or “filoxenia.” The place could be transformed, but as it is, it feels run on the cheapest possible budget and with poor taste.

I loved sitting on the roomy balcony, looking out over a side street and the hills and mountains, then watching the sky at night. The room was lovely, and everything felt just right. The facilities were tidy, the location was great, and the staff were wonderful. The woman at reception was especially helpful, attentive, and kind. It felt like heaven on earth.
