Zephyros Hotel

The location and amenities were good, with a nice selection of drinks, a good-looking pool, and lovely views from the balconies. It may not be the best hotel for families, but it’s perfect for couples or solo travelers. After two nights here, I’d certainly recommend it. Thanks again for the advice, Billy. The barman is a great guy, and I can’t praise him enough. I don’t know what he earns, but he deserves a pay rise for the hours he puts in.

The rooms are tiny, but they worked well since we planned to be out most of the time. They have good air conditioning, a cozy balcony, a cooler, a closet, and a table with a mirror. Service was great and the staff were very nice and helpful. The hotel is amazing, with supermarkets nearby and hotspots like the beach and Kos city within walking distance. There’s a place across from the entrance where you can rent scooters/steps for 30 cents per minute, so getting around is easy and cheap. An amazing stay!

For my first visit to Kos, this was a great experience. The location was perfect, with the Marina of Kos across the street and a lovely seaside view. Hippocrates' statue, the tour boats, and lots of restaurants and shops are about a 20-minute walk away. The rooms had comfortable beds and large balconies for the view and sea breeze, along with a fridge, TV, AC unit, and hair dryer. Daily cleaning kept everything tidy, and the pool was spotless, cleaned every day. The lounge and dining area mix Mediterranean and modern design in a way that feels unique and tasteful. The staff were friendly and ready to help, and someone was always at reception. The owner is a pretty funny, friendly guy. Breakfast was basic, but the items were all high quality, fresh, and tasty. I also had one of the best watermelons of the year there. The dining options are cooked fresh, and a chef works there 24/7. They don’t skimp on the alcohol, either. This was the only place during my 11 days on the island where I got a decent cocktail. For some reason, the other joints put a ridiculously small amount of spirits in theirs, but not here. The owner knows how to mix his stuff. Prices were more than right, and I’ll definitely stay with them again.

The location is good, and the pool is a nice touch. Otherwise, it’s an OK kind of hotel, nothing impressive but nothing too bad. The beds aren’t very comfortable, and there’s no noise insulation in the rooms, so bring earplugs.
