Villa Maria Vekri

The rooms were comfortable and well cared for, and the shower had great water pressure. We especially liked the garden setting. It’s close to the center, and the very kind hosts provided rides to and from the port.

The rooms are simple, but they had everything we needed, and the daily refresh was much appreciated. It was so clean, and you can tell the owners really care about making guests comfortable. Yiota even drove us to and from the port at some very inconvenient hours. We loved our stay and would come back in a heartbeat. Thank you ❤️

Villa Maria Vekri was thoughtfully laid out, with a spacious room, a good kitchenette, and a lovely garden. George took the time to show me around, and I felt very well looked after. He even picked me up from my other hotel with all my things when they only had a one-night opening. The location is great, a short walk from the port and plenty of restaurants. There’s no AC, which explains the affordable price, but the breeze through the windows was so good that the fan was enough. I wish I could’ve stayed longer, if they’d had availability!

We had a great time at Villa Maria Verki. Georg picked us up warmly at the harbour and brought us to the accommodation. They surprised us with little pastries, a lovely gesture of hospitality. We were also able to extend our stay spontaneously and without any hassle.
