We booked at the end of the season for a great price and found the hotel quiet and relaxing, exactly what we wanted after busy Chania, which we also loved. Every room has its own pool, heated at the beginning and end of the season. Breakfast is à la carte in the restaurant, with a lovely sea and mountain view. The team in reception, the restaurant, and housekeeping were friendly and efficient. Our bed was comfortable, with pillow choices, and the room had stylish interiors, nice bathroom products, and outdoor furniture that looked great in photos. Koutoulafari and Piskopiano are a few minutes uphill on foot. They seem to have been lovely traditional villages 30 years ago, but now there are lots of somewhat inauthentic restaurants touting for business and standard souvenir shops. Look between the themed places and you can still find original family businesses true to Crete. Patrika restaurant was very good; L’Arto Italian was very average. We also enjoyed a quad biking tour with Goxplore, which we reviewed separately. We’ll definitely return to the hotel and hope to find more local hidden gems.

The suite was spotless, spacious, and comfortable, with everything we needed and our own private space. We stayed in a Deluxe Suite and had a very large, comfortable bed, a fabulous shower, and lovely toiletries. There was a mini fridge and tea and coffee setup, replenished daily. Outside, the seating and bathing area was roomy, the sunbeds comfortable, and the heated pool well maintained. WiFi was excellent too. Breakfast was delicious and à la carte, with as much or as little as you wanted. Staff were welcoming, friendly, and always happy to help. Deos Luxury Suites is also just a five-minute walk from the lovely villages of Koutouloufari & Piskopiano, with plenty of bars and tavernas nearby. Thank-you Kostas for a wonderful stay. We’ll be back, highly recommend!

Three nights went by too quickly, I wish we’d booked a week. The suites really are luxurious, and both the service and included breakfast were outstanding. Room service was great too. We’ll definitely return and tell our friends about this hotel.

We spent time with friends here in a beautiful, relaxing setting, and left feeling refreshed and spoiled. The staff were attentive and available throughout our stay, with a personal touch that made us feel very well looked after. The suites were thoughtfully designed and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. We enjoyed the pool, the lovely views, and exploring the area. Deos Luxury Suites in Hersonisos made for a memorable getaway, and we’re already thinking about coming back.
