Breakfast was decent, with fresh bread and eggs, local cheese, orange juice, homemade jam and marmalade. The room was clean, warm, and had everything we needed. We had a lovely weekend getaway, and the owner welcomed us kindly with a bottle of wine and fresh walnuts.

The mountain slope, completely covered in trees, has a jaw-dropping view. Gilery is a wonderful place for nature lovers and for families looking to relax, with a 3- and a 5-year-old in our case. Cars can’t get around the Gilery area, so the kids could play safely. We could breathe the clean forest air, feel close to the ground, slow down, and enjoy Lagkadia like locals in this picturesque village. George was very welcoming and helpful, and his advice made our stay unforgettable. We’re definitely coming back!

We got lots of helpful information before and during our stay. The apartments were clean, spacious, and beautiful, and the location was great.

The view was amazing, and the rooms were just right. A really nice place, and I’d visit again.
