Laganas Beach Hotel

The room and upkeep were the biggest letdowns during our seven nights, from 19 to 26 August. Furniture was old and in bad shape, bathroom walls were peeling, handles were broken, and some furniture had been patched with OSB panels. The sheets weren't changed once. Towels were replaced only after I asked, and then just once. Cleanliness and maintenance fell well below an acceptable level. Breakfast was the same low-quality food each day, so I only ate there twice. The lady at the bar was also unfriendly and impolite. A polite explanation of the rules about bringing our own products would have been enough, but the way it was handled felt hostile. I never saw anyone from outside the hotel using the bar, and at breakfast it was only hotel guests, so management's concern about outside consumption didn't seem relevant in practice. There were a few good points: we were greeted politely on arrival, the two young men at the bar were consistently respectful, the location is close to both the beach and Laganas center, and the pool area looks nice in the evening. Still, we got much warmer service elsewhere nearby, where we were happy to spend money at the bars and restaurants. With a better attitude, more guests might choose to spend here too. Given the poor conditions and unprofessional service, I won't return and can't recommend it.

Sissy and Nia in the kitchen and bar, Polyxrni from room service, and Theo and Kallinikios at reception made this feel like a lovely family. It was our first time in Zante, and we couldn't have been happier with the location, service, professionalism, and especially the people. 🫶🏻

Everyone was so welcoming and friendly, and the atmosphere was lovely. It's also close to everything you'd want to do.

The location is the best part, almost on the beach and near restaurants. The pool was nice too, but those sunbeds gave me back pain, and cocktails aren't available until 5:00 PM. The rooms were really dirty. Once we got sheets covered in bloodstains, and when we pointed them out, they insisted it wasn't blood even though it was obvious. No apology, just a fresh set. There were ants all over the bathroom, and you have to hold the showerhead while washing. Breakfast was inedible, the same thing every day with hardly any choice. A few employees were unfriendly as well. I wouldn't recommend staying here because of the poor hygiene.
