The beach is a stone's throw away, which is ideal. I came for a couple of nights and ended up staying three extra. The pool's great, and the staff are some of the friendliest you'll meet. My room was clean, cool, and cosy. Air conditioning was FREE, while I've noticed a lot of hotels charge €10.

I spent 7 nights here this summer and everything was fine. If you're after a large double room, free air conditioning, a big outdoor pool, and quiet nights, this is the place. The bad reviews don't reflect my experience. Just remember it's a 2-star hotel, so don't expect 5-star treatment. Thank you Timos hotel for having me.

It's close to the beach and right on the party street in lagernas. Good rooms and very friendly staff. Best Hotel in Zakynthos.

The shower setup might be awkward for tall people like me, I'm Dutch: there's no hook, and the hose can be too short. Heat gets trapped beneath the balconies, so it can stay warm for a long time. Pool noise during the day is just part of daily life here. The hotel was good, and the AC worked perfectly, but make sure you pay extra for it because it's not included. A real plus is the good, cheap car rental, with something always available. There's also a good breakfast shop and the option to buy bear/low-alcohol beverages 24/7.

My first holiday with friends started out exciting, but the hotel stay made me feel unsafe. Our room was broken into and staff did nothing about it. The air on wasn't working when we asked, yet they still tried to charge us. They also filmed us when we had no clothes on apart from a blanket, and one of us is underage. One of the men kicked my friend's suitcase across our room. It's put me off going to zante again.
