Saron Hotel

We paid about €70 for one night with breakfast in late September. Our front room looked out over the ocean, and it was quiet, including at night. The hotel feels dated, but the staff are friendly. Breakfast was basic and good, and you can eat outside by the pool. We didn’t use the pool, though it looked well kept. There’s parking at the front and more space behind the hotel. A cute, friendly dog was wandering around too, very Greek. A good place for a night while visiting Cape Sounion, especially outside high season.

After a long stretch of travelling, I found this quiet, relaxing hotel and was surprised by how warmly the staff welcomed me. They made me feel at home, such genuinely friendly, kind-hearted people. I’d recommend this lovely place to anyone. You won’t regret it.

We came across this hotel online by chance and had a great stay. It’s a lovely family-run place, without the fake minimalism you see in some newer buildings. The manager and staff were so warm and friendly, it was hard to leave. There are restaurants nearby and the beach is an easy walk away. The pool was a pleasure to use, the rooms had views and balconies, and everything was cleaned so well. Top!

We stayed here before an early boat and they even made us breakfast to take along. It’s a friendly, family-run hotel with great service and a pool, and dogs are welcome. Good for a stay with kids or family, close to Lavrio, Sounio, and local beaches. We’ll definitely come back.
