The Wi-Fi was so slow that we used our own mobile data, and it was frustrating that power only worked with the key in its slot, so we couldn't charge things while we were out. Still, we found the apartment comfortable and good value. We stayed four nights in an upper-floor room with an ocean view, and the place was clean with daily housekeeping. Lentas is tiny, so the location worked well. Just don't come expecting luxury.

We paid 40 euros for a cramped room with no view, and we won't be back. Without mosquito screens, we barely slept. The shower was cold and the sink filthy; when we raised it, the staff seemed surprised and didn't apologize. The price felt far too high for what we got.

The cleanliness, parking, and location were the only real positives for us. Athina Residence in Lentas, Crete is ordinary accommodation, nowhere near the luxury described on its website. We had paid for rooms with a sea view, but after receiving the money, the owner called to say those rooms had just been booked and we'd be put in rooms without a view (as shown in the picture). The Wi-Fi was unreliable, and my phone hotspot worked much better. Since the key controls the outlets, we couldn't leave devices charging when we went out. The towels and toiletries were poor too. I wouldn't consider staying at Athina Residence again.
