We picked an apartment with a garden because we have small children, but couldn’t enjoy it. Wasps bothered us in the morning, and when we came back from the beach at 6:30 in the afternoon, the garden was being watered and the mosquitoes were everywhere. We pointed out the wasp nests, but nothing meaningful was done to deal with them. The hosts were rude and brought a negative energy we didn’t want on vacation.

The owner was extremely rude and wanted cash on the day we left. When we mentioned the deposit, she got annoyed, and in the end gave us a handwritten receipt without a stamp. We’d chosen the room partly for its garden because we have a small child. It was watered every day at 6:30, and when we asked from the start if the timing could be changed, the owner said it wasn’t possible. There were lots of wasps, and the watering brought mosquitoes. Cats came in and out of the room and got onto the clothes on the line. The room was generally clean, but the cutlery and kitchenware were all together on placemats on the floor in the cupboard under the counter, where it smelled musty. We stayed seven days and the room was cleaned once. The owner asked whether we wanted her to take out the trash daily, and we said no, but she still came in every day.

The hosts made us feel at home and were welcoming. Our clean room had new furniture and everything needed for a relaxing stay. It’s about a 10-minute walk to the beach. There’s a small terrace and access to a barbecue. I recommend it, it was worth the money.
