Andreas, the owner, made us feel at home from the moment we arrived. It was one of the best experiences I've had in recent years, and the accommodation was great. Definitely try their breakfast. You can also borrow their bikes for free, a must for a ride along the coast!

There's a lot of character in this smaller place, and I'd happily recommend it and hope to come back. The rooms are a good size, with a full kitchen and all the kitchenware, plus comfortable beds and a decent balcony with a sea view. They cleaned daily and brought fresh towels. The staff are all lovely people. We borrowed pool and beach gear, and used the hotel's bikes for a ride by the water. The beach is only a minute's walk away.

Caffe serves a top quality breakfast, which is well worth booking, and if you eat there, be ready for surprise dishes and Cretan hospitality. It's one of the best, with lots of regulars stopping by. Janna and Andreas are wonderful hosts who make you feel like family and want you to have a good holiday in Creta. The room has plenty of useful things already provided. There's a small food market at the entrance with fairly normal prices, open for shopping anytime. The location is very central, with beaches and restaurants nearby.

For what we paid, this was a real bargain. We stayed in September 2016 with three people, and it worked out cheaper than a youth hostel while feeling quite luxurious. The apartment was modern, with a glass door shower, full kitchen, large fridge, modern Samsung air conditioning, a big closet, two tables, a balcony overlooking the ocean, a flat screen TV and a phone in the room. Free Wi-Fi was available, and room service cleaned the apartment daily, changed the bedcovers and left fresh towels. The beach is about 25 meters away, with plenty of bars, restaurants, shops and cafes nearby. There was free parking on the road. I'd really recommend it for families.
