Ray Hotel Corfu

The sea view is beautiful, the hotel looks fairly new and is well maintained, and the bus stop right outside is handy. There are car rental options nearby too. I also liked having loungers on the private beach and free SUP boards available anytime. Still, I found it overpriced for what you get. There isn’t much to do at the hotel beyond morning yoga and occasional live music, so it can feel quiet and uneventful. Getting to the rocky, poorly maintained beach means walking up and down each time. Nearby walks are limited, and the road to reach a café often has no sidewalk. Food choices are limited and the quality can be disappointing. My biggest issue was that bottled water wasn’t included, despite the high price. Guests can’t bring their own water to the pool and have to buy it at the hotel bar. At night, when the shop and bar are closed, there’s no way to get water. Those drawbacks made the stay feel poor value.

We stayed as a family of four and had a lovely time. The hotel was clean and the staff were very nice. We ate breakfast and dinner there, and the menu changed every day. Everything was fresh and tasty. The beach is on site, reached by stairs, and there was always enough room. You can also use the surfboards for free. The sea is beautiful, though the coast is rocky, and there’s an entry to the water from the shore by the pier near the hotel. Corfu’s northern location gives it a milder climate than the other Ionian islands. Even in the hottest months, temperatures rarely go above +31°C. There’s live music in the evenings. It’s a real resort paradise, and I definitely recommend it. We’ll be back 🥰🤗

The beach was great, and the rooms were nice. I really loved the place. The whole island is lovely, and the hotel has a welcoming atmosphere and good vibes.

That sunrise over the sea was unforgettable. We could watch it from bed, in total peace and comfort, and it felt like a dream. Even though Ray Hotel Corfu is near the airport, it was surprisingly quiet. The occasional plane actually added to the atmosphere for us. The interior is modern, tasteful, and cozy. We loved the pool and its chill-out playlist, and the restaurant was a highlight too, with delicious food, panoramic views, and good vegetarian options. There’s also a small seaside area with loungers. It’s compact, but we still found plenty of space. A lovely choice for couples wanting time to reconnect and unwind. We absolutely loved our stay and can’t wait to return!
