The food was delicious and good value, and my room looked just like the photos. It was spotless. I visited Crete in summer 2025 and stayed in Hersonissos at Cooks Hotel. The hotel was very clean and well looked after, with a warm, welcoming feel. Staff were exceptionally friendly and ready to help with whatever I needed. I chose well and will definitely visit again 🩷

As a local, I like how Cook’s Club Hersonissos fits into the community. It feels as comfortable for locals as it does for visitors, and the music, crowd and general energy suit the rhythm of Hersonissos naturally. The food is reliably good, made with quality ingredients and a creative touch while keeping its Mediterranean flavors. The bar is a highlight too, with well-made cocktails and a great atmosphere. The whole place feels relaxed but stylish, and the staff are genuinely friendly and attentive without overdoing it. It's become one of the spots I'm always happy to recommend, lively, modern and welcoming.

There are plenty of places to lounge, from sunbeds to tables, and the pool has a cool view. The atmosphere is relaxed, with good music playing all the time. Staff were super friendly and welcoming, and there was a nice variety of tasty food and drinks. I had an amazing time and would recommend it to anyone looking for a great vacation spot.

The friendly, helpful staff couldn't make up for the condition of the rooms. We asked to change rooms after finding ours in bad shape, and they did move us, but the second room had similar cleanliness problems, with hairs in the shower and fingerprints. It seemed like this might be common in the hotel. In the first room, the doors and bed creaked, there was black hair on the mattress and in the shower, the shower cabin was covered in limescale, and the shower head didn't work properly. The rooms need renovation, and staying in old, worn, not very clean rooms was uncomfortable. We did like the hotel's surroundings, breakfast and evening entertainment.
