The big rooms and generous balconies made this a lovely budget stay, and we really enjoyed it. It’s a small place with an almost cozy feel, though the linens are quite old. There are shops, stalls, and a fishmonger close by with very fresh seafood. A courtyard-facing room is quieter, but the sewage smell can get overpowering at times. Be ready to clean your own room and change the bedding, and to bring toilet paper, which is expensive here. I cleaned the room myself and found everything I needed. I’d rate the hotel four stars.

The sea is clear and very warm, and it’s an easy 7-10 minute walk away. There’s also a cheaper supermarket on the route to the beach, while a large one is right across the street from the apartments. The rooms are spacious, with practical layouts and self-catering facilities. Which apartment you get seems to depend on its location within the hotel, but we found these apartments excellent.
