Eleni, who’s in charge, was great, friendly, and easy to approach. An iron and ironing board were available, along with an iPhone charger and EU adaptor. The room had a sink, two-plate hob with three settings, and an en-suite shower bathroom. It also had a TV and a large open balcony, about 10x6m, furnished with two chairs, extendable drying racks, and an umbrella. The air conditioning was adequate, though not amazing. The sockets were on the wall opposite the bed, so there wasn’t one close to where I slept. Other basics included a kettle, cutlery, four towels, and mats for the shower and toilet.

Heleni, the owner, was really pleasant, and the place is clean and simple. It’s just a two-minute walk to the beach, and there’s parking. A few things could be better: the beds aren’t comfortable, our room was right beside a car rental agency so there was no privacy at all, and you have to ask for basics like sugar and dish soap.

We went to arrange an apartment for this year and found clean, nice rooms with big balconies facing the sea. The lady who runs the place was lovely. We’ve booked six weeks in April and May, and can’t wait.

The place was clean, simple and quiet, but the bed was absolutely horrendous. The shower’s tiny, and water leaked out all over the place. That’s why I’m giving it three stars.
