The rooms and facilities were clean, orderly, and had everything a guest might need. Lovely people, a nice layout, and pleasant surroundings. Highly recommended.

The view at night, with the capital's lights across the bay, was beautiful, and Lixouri's restaurants and bars added to a brilliant holiday. We felt genuinely welcome throughout. The hotel itself was peaceful, with a cheerful pool and pool bar, and the staff were consistently lovely to me and my family. They even upgraded us to a studio at no extra cost so we'd have more room for the baby. We think so highly of Hotel Palatino, Lixouri, and the people who make it what it is. We'll be back. We had a lovely week's holiday, and the rooms were very clean with friendly staff. Breakfast was extremely basic and didn't change all week; my three children had toast every day. Also, children weren't allowed to jump into the pool, which is half the fun of a holiday for a kid.

For a cheap holiday, this place is fine, and I'd definitely come back, so don't let my comments put you off. The reception and bar staff were really nice and on the ball. Breakfast is very basic, as people often say, but you can go into town and pay for something different. The reason I'm not giving five stars is our bathroom, which was falling apart. I had to put the shower doors back on several times, fix the glass shelf fitting, and refit the shower head. It sprayed over the top of the cubicle onto the toilet. The bathroom fittings need attention, and a bit more breakfast variety would make this a little gem.
