Milos Studios

A nice spot near the water.

The building is well kept and surrounded by greenery, with its own pool, loungers, and parasols. There's a grocery supermarket nearby and a local bus stop with service to the capital, Argostoli. The high Ainos mountains make a beautiful backdrop, and to me this is one of the loveliest places on Kefalonia. The hotel is conveniently close to the beach. Apartments are clean and have basic kitchen gear, including a kettle, electric cooking rings, and a refrigerator. Each has sanitary facilities and free air conditioning. From the upper floor balconies you can see the nearby sea from the side. The mattresses, unfortunately, are completely unsuitable.

We were three people and stayed 10 days in August. The hosts were so friendly, and we really appreciated them. It's a two-minute walk downhill to the sea, cafes, and tavernas, and two minutes uphill to the mini market. Excellent value, very clean, and wonderfully welcoming.

The studios are fairly spacious and have a large balcony. There's a well-kept swimming pool with a counter-current feature right by them, and the beach isn't far away. The only drawback was the old air conditioner. It was incredibly noisy, and the walls even shook while it was running. Milos studios are joined to the identical Water Side studios.
