Lydia Apartments

We had a tasty breakfast on our own balcony, with an astonishing view over the thermal springs and the gulf of Edipsos. The apartments are stylish and great. George was the soul of the place, helping us out with information about sights, places to visit, and restaurants. Thank you for such lovely accommodation!

For what we paid, this was a clear 10. The hotel is near thermal waters, with the beach just down the street for a swim. It's at the entrance to Loutra, so it was peaceful and parking was easy, though the shops in the center are about a 10-minute walk away. The place looks amazing from the view in the photos, and the hotel is quite new. Check-in is self-service, and we never saw the owner, but didn't need anything. There's an elevator to the floors, too. Our room felt new and was comfortable for two, with steady hot water and a good bed. Basic cleaning and restocking were done every day. The central air conditioning worked, though it was a little noisier than ideal. There were four pillows; we asked for smaller, softer ones, and they changed them. We didn't hear noise from outside, only occasional sounds from inside when someone came in or shut a door. A few things to know: the refrigerator is quite small, though it has a mini freezer, which was okay. The blackout curtains let a few rays in during the morning, so light sensitive people like us may notice. We stayed four nights, and although the amenities paperwork mentions it, our towels and sheets weren't changed. Still, an excellent stay.
