The people were so nice and clearly cared about making us comfortable. The flat was amazing, with a great view.

Our holiday was perfect, but the room situation was a zero. We’re a family with two adult children and had clearly asked for two separate rooms. On the phone, the gentleman said he had two rentals, and when one had no room, he offered us a place at the other one. He quoted a price that seemed completely reasonable for two rooms. When we arrived in Loutra Edipsou, we went to the address listed online for that second rental. A woman in the yard confirmed we were at the right place, so we got out and unloaded all our luggage. Then the gentleman came out and said our room was actually on the street below. He hadn’t mentioned on the phone that there was a third place, and that apartment building wasn’t listed online as a rental or shown with any photos. He also offered us a room there, but it looked old from outside, so we didn’t want it. After waiting about ten minutes, we loaded everything again, followed his motorbike in our car, then unloaded at the other place. Inside, it was one apartment: a single bed by the entrance facing the living room, no TV there, and the only good WiFi was near the front door. The living room sofa turned into a bed and creaked at the slightest movement. Further in were a bathroom, kitchen and bedroom with a double bed. We felt relieved at first, but the gentleman came to check whether we had settled in, and we told him it wasn’t what we expected. He said he’d understood we wanted two rooms. When we explained again that we needed separate rooms for the parents and our two adult children, he said families usually want the children together so they can keep an eye on them. It felt like he was trying to cover up what he’d done on purpose. The price was nowhere near reasonable for a two-room apartment.

We got exactly what we expected and were completely satisfied. Mr. Vangelis was always smiling, polite and ready to sort out any little problem during our stay, and the whole family was just as welcoming. Thanks so much for being part of our lovely, relaxing experience in the thermal baths of Edipsos.
