Bakos

The owner was very friendly and made our stay pleasant, and the location was close to the beach. We could store our beach things there. Fresh sheets and towels were brought daily, and the maid folded clothes left on the bed, though the glasses weren’t changed. The rooms were a bit old and not very clean: we found trash under the bed, and the shower mat was dirty and full of hair. Breakfast was very basic and the same every day, with no vegetables and very little fruit. The pool was abnormally cold with no heater, and the walls were so thin we heard everything other guests did.

The staff were polite and good, and the hotel is downtown, close to the beach and easy to get around from. It has a pool as well. But the walls were thin, the beds uncomfortable, and my room smelled of chlorine from the pool the whole time. The fixtures and setup are dated, though that was easy to overlook for the hotel's better points. A so-so experience.

The pool was excellent, and the meals were fresh and delicious. The hosts, brothers both named Vasilis, were wonderful and made it feel like home. They were always helpful and answered all our questions. Hygiene clearly matters here: the room was cleaned and the bed linen and towels changed daily. I’ll definitely be back!

The garden and pool were wonderful, and the hotel was in a quiet spot close to shops and the beach. It also had very good prices and, to our surprise, a parking space. Our room was fairly large and clean, with air-conditioning and a balcony exit. Breakfast was good and plentiful. The family-run Bakos Hotel was recommended for our Greece holiday by travel agency ROGVAIV Tur from Petroșani, and we were welcomed by one of the two Vassilis cousins, who are both very kind. Mr. Vassilis advised us on local sights, places to eat, and souvenirs. We enjoyed our stay and would happily return. Bianca and Sorin from Romania.
