Porto Loutro II

The beers were an interesting selection, and the cocktails were fantastic and well priced. The food was simple, delicious, full of flavor, and prepared just right. Prices were a real surprise too, with great value and quality in a place where things generally cost quite a lot. We were initially confused because Google Maps lists it as Hotel Porto Loutro on the Hill, but then found out the restaurant welcomes everyone, not just hotel guests. The service was very friendly and made us feel at home. With its great location and unique views over Loutro, this may be the best dining option around. Highly, highly recommended!

We tried the restaurant today and were pleasantly surprised. Prices were amazing, portions generous, and the food exceptional. It’s another reason I can’t imagine staying anywhere else in Loutro. We’ve been coming to this hotel for the past two years, and it feels like my own little slice of paradise. The views are breathtaking at any time of day. The recently renovated rooms feel fresh and comfortable, and are a step above many others nearby. The breakfast buffet is delicious, and the welcoming staff make you feel right at home.

We came as a small group just for dinner. The view was beautiful, and the fresh food tasted great. I especially liked the dips with pita. The meat dishes were nicely seasoned and cooked, and Sfakian pie made a good local dessert. The servers were friendly, though they could have paid us a bit more attention. Bonus, the drinks list has lots of non-alcoholic cocktails.

We couldn’t stay overnight because they were fully booked, so we came for breakfast instead. Just fresh orange juice and scrambled eggs, but the service was fast, the view was nice, and we felt great. Highly recommend this place!
